Wooden Prototype Hull

This project was put together by Team-21 Racing and part by Newson Boatbuilders. The design was mainly Craig Speller's and built by Team-21 Racing in 2006/2007 in preporation for the 2007 racing season. During 2007 we had to do lots of testing and modifying to bring the boat upto scratch. In the World Championships this boat only finished 14th, it shows that not everything comes to those who hope. It takes work, dedication and persistance to get the best results. Along the way we had a few collisions and quite a few engine seizures to find the best setting, even for a four times World Champion.

After all this and a major development change this boat even when weighing in at 122kg has been proven, beating the 2007 World Champion at two different race meetings.
