World Championships 2004 Ercsi (HUNGARY)

The World Championships 2004 took place on the river Danube in Ercsi near to Budapest. We arrived to scorching hot sunshine and that is the way it stayed for the racing. The first heat got off to a good start and at the first turn we were just about to take 2nd place and the worst happenend. Craig barrel rolled straight over the top of fellow competitor & good friend Marion Jung (SLOVAKIA) causing a stoppage. NO ONE WAS INJURED AS A RESULT OF THE INCIDENT. The boat was repaired and out for the next heat in which we started last. Over all we finished in 6th Place.
