  • Loves to have a challenge and trying something new, boatbuilder in wooden boats from an early age, he loves sailing, the faster the better, fast cars are another passion but not to much time as at present focusing on hydroplanes and how to get them to fly and win.

Danny Wood (Driver)

Danny Wood

Following in his fathers footsteps Danny started racing in a junior training boat only to find he was to tall to fit properly. At the first opportunity he was in the hydro training boat at Oulton Broad followed swiftly by his own boat. A swift learning curve followed as Danny found the boats limits and sometimes way beyond. With some encouraging words from Craig Danny soon started to show others the way round. World championships in Italy were his first real test of international racing, qualifying ahead of Craig but his racing was to end with a severely damaged boat.

  • Where do we start, chef, electrician, actor, comedian, but most of all a hard worker with an ambition to win, also has his fathers good looks which has helped.
